Toshiba 1TB USB 3.5″ External Desktop Hard Drive
Does the world need an other external hard drive? Well Toshiba think so! One thing can be said, the Toshiba 1TB USB 3.5″ External Desktop Hard Drive is pretty cool looking and is great quality for such a small price.
The 3.5″ USB hard drives may be used in a horizontal, or vertical orientation on your desktop. These high speed hard drives, ranging from 160GB to 1TB, provide excellent performance, and with their fanless design, are near-silent in operation. This is a claim often made in the external hard drive arena, and with advances in technology it is safe to say that this Toshiba variant will no doubt be pretty smooth sounding. Connecting via USB, they are a great way to backup your files for future recovery, or as a storage solution for large media files such as HD video.
We haven’t tested this one yet, but no doubt it will be a pretty good investment for those needing more storage space.

Toshiba is a good choice. But I prefer to choose Western Digital, especially their My Book.
