The XMI X-mini II Mini Speaker is the sort of portable speaker that makes you stop in your tracks and stare with your jaw open. If I hadn’t witnessed it myself I wouldn’t believe how much noise gets blasted from the little devil.
XMI´s X-Mini II mini-speaker, or capsule speaker as the company calls it, is more than meets the eye. At 60 millimetres by 60mm by 40mm when closed, it´ just the size of an egg. But its specifications claim 1.9 watts of audio enjoyment; some Web sites say 2.5W. Either case, it is louder than the speakers on your MP3 player or laptop. With its extra long 11 hour battery life you can take it everywhere without the usual battery time worries. We love the way you can connect XMI X-mini II Mini Speakers together to form an impressive ‘daisy chain’ of speakers to enhance the sound. Let me tell you, several of these bad boys could damage your entire collection of crystal wine glasses!
To eliminate cumbersome audio cables dangling from the speaker, XMI has designed a connecting audio cable that can be tucked neatly into the base for a cleaner and sleeker look.
You really won’t find a cheaper set of portable speakers that are as loud as these.
