Recently Sony have announced the pending release of a new entry level video MP3 player called the Sony WALKMAN E Series but how will it compare to the massively popular Sony NWZ-E436FB 4GB Drag and Drop MP4 Video Player?
The new Walkman E series is just 9.3mm thick and is available in red and black. It features a 2-inch QVGA colour LCD screen which offers a crisp, detail-packed view of videos and photos. It is also designed to deliver up to 30 hours of music or 6 hours of video playback on a single charge.
The generously-sized 2-inch QVGA Colour LCD screen offers a crisp, detail-packed view of videos, photos, album art, playlists and other functions.
As you’d expect from WALKMAN®, the E Series is packed with unique Sony sound enhancement features for a more satisfying listening experience. Sony’s clear audio technology reduced noise leakage between headphones giving you a better stereo experience and a 5 band equaliser comes as standard allowing you to fine tune the sound to your own preferences.
It seems that the Sony WALKMAN E Series is set to offer some detail sound features along with a pretty good battery life of 6 hours. I wonder if this hopefully cheap MP3 player can bridge the tech gap between some Cowon MP3/MP4 players and the Apple iPod?
