When will the Nokia N86 be released I hear you all saying. Back in February Nokia themselves leaked information about this new phone and since then it seems that everyone wants one.
The Nokia N86 is set to be the first phone from Nokia to feature an 8 megapixel camera and we think that the market now has a competitor to some Sony Ericsson’s infamous phones.
The N86 will feature Assisted GPS, a 3,5mm jack plug and a 2.6″ 16 million colour OLED screen, video and music player, Wi-Fi, TV-out, stereo speakers and A2DP Bluetooth. Naturally it’s a smartphone, with Symbian S60 3rd Edition running the show, plus an 8GB internal memory and a MicroSD card slot to increase this to 16GB.
The camera will record video in VGA at 30fps and apparantly will be very capable in low and bright light conditions thanks to a larger, more vaiable aperture. All the usual Ovi and other upload services are there along with the Nokia Music Store and N-gage gaming. The 149 gram weight seems a little on the high side though.
We have heard some more rumours about it being released pretty soon and will keep you all posted.

i think so.. nokia is the best!!!
Does a phone need an 8MP camera? If you need something like this, get a digital camera and don’t pay (or overpay) $400 for a phone like this.
I don’t think so as Samsung has just released a phone with a 10 mega pixel camera so there is competition out there.
the 8mp of the n86 blows away any samsung crap…
