Sony releases new mid level phone with 5MP camera

Sony Ericsson has been producing many mid level mobile phones that are packed with many features you’ll think they’re high end models.
With the Mobile World Congress nearing, different phone companies are now preparing to unveil new models for 2009, and Sony has already given more details about one o f its mid range phones, the Cybershot branded C903.
The Sony Ericsson Cybershot C903 is a slide phone that has a 5 megapixel camera, which has a protective cover. The phone will have dedicated keys for operating the camera. The cool thing about the built in cam is the face detection technology that is present on digital cameras are now included in the phone. It even has a smile shutter. BestPic, which lets you choose from 9 successive shots, is also an available feature.
Video recording comes with image stabilization and there’s also a TV out port for attaching the phone to the TV to view videos and photos. The C903 will have an auto-rotating display on its 2.4 inch screen, and will display at 240 x 320 resolution.
Of course, the phone features are no less impressive. The aGPS means photos can be tagged with the location of where it was taken. It has support for GSM / GPRS / EDGE 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 as well as UMTS / HSPA 900 / 2100. The Sony Ericsson C903 will come in nice colors like Techno White, Glamour Red and Lacquer Black.
No need to worries about having memory problems – the phone has a built in memory of 105 MB and will have a slot for accepting Memory Stick Micro. It has been clocked at 10 hours of talk time on both GPRS and GSM. Standby time is a staggering 400 hours.
There’s still no news on pricing for this nice product.
The Iphone has really held it’s own over time it has all the functions that one can use cant wait for the 4g this summer.
