Getting stressed when your portable devices are almost out of juice is a thing of the past with a little help from the FreeLoader Solar Charger. Unfortunately we can’t lug around power sockets so a more inventive approach to charging your device on the go was needed. This eco friendly device soaks up the power of the sun and then stores it for up to 3 months giving you instant access to charging power whenever you need it. It’s your own portable solar powered battery!
The FreeLoader is 120mm long when fully extended, and 17mm thick, made of smooth aluminium. The solar panels slide out when you want to charge it, and can alternatively be charged via USB if the sun doesn’t want to play. Then you add on one of the various included adaptors, connect it up to your chosen device and voila- extra juice! It can run a phone for 44 hours, an iPod for 18 hours and a PSP for 2.5 hours
The basic FreeLoader Solar Charger is ample to help you keep your phones, PSP’s and other small devices fully charged when out and about, but for slightly bigger things like Camcorders and cameras there is a Pro version available to buy. Wondering what to do about Camcorder batteries? The Pro version of the FreeLoader Charger comes with a “CamCaddy” to charge them. Job done!
To spice things up, it comes in both silver and pink.
