Ice Cream Ball
What self resepcting adult doesn’t like ice cream? (ok, lactose intolerance is a good enough excuse). Obviously the main hassle with making your own ice cream is the time delay but alas the problem is solved. Wouldn’t it be great if this super quick way of making ice cream didn’t even require any energy from the power socket? And, wouldn’t it be even better if you got to play ball at the same time?
The Ice Cream Ball is here and it lets you make ice cream by rolling the ball around. Simply bung your ice cream ingredients in one end, cram ice and rock salt in the other and then play with the ball.
After about 20 minutes you’ll have a pint of delicious homemade ice cream. No van required! The important bit is keeping the ball shaking and moving as it affects the consistency of the final product. If it’s not quite right, simply put the lid back on and roll the ball around for a few more minutes.
If you’re thinking “Yuck, rock salt in my ice cream?!”, then don’t worry – the salt itself never actually comes into contact with your ice cream – but it’s vital to the thermodynamic reaction that super-cools the ingredients
As fun as it would be to volley the ball around the house we don’t recommend it. Not only will you lose your home insurance premium with broken objects, but ice cream flying all over the place isn’t a good look….trust me!
We think this is great for parties and picnics.
