You’re Too Fat For An iPod Nano!

Since the Nano’s launch customers have been complaining about how easy it is to crack the Nano screen whilst the player is in there pocket. Apple have finally acknowledged the issue and suggested a reason too.
Appleââ¬â¢s SVP of Marketing Phil Schiller said today in a press release ââ¬Åââ¬Â¦this issue has affected less than 1/10 of 1 percent of the total iPod nano units that weââ¬â¢ve shipped. It is not a design issue. It has more to do with obese Americans in tight pants putting the nano in their front jeans pocket, and then sitting for extended periods of time.ââ¬Â
Blaming the nanoââ¬â¢s screen issues on fat people is not the first time Apple has come under fire for attacking its super-sized customers. In 1998 the American Obesity Association filed a complaint against Apple charging the companyââ¬â¢s hot-selling iMac computer shipped with a miniature keyboard and mouse that could not accommodate the enlarged fingers of obese Americans.
macenstein.com commented:
According to the AOA, Approximately 127 million adults in the U.S. are overweight, 60 million obese, and 9 million severely obese. If Apple worked harder to actively cater (no pun intended) to the obese, it could mean a huge (no pun intended) increase in market share.
Apple, for itââ¬â¢s part, seems to realize this. It has offered to replace the ââ¬Ådefectiveââ¬Â nanos. However, they are insisting that all customers weighing over 230 Pounds also agree to sign a form stating they will carry their nano in an altoids case for protection.

I think Apple have every right to take blame on fat people. Americans are way too fat to handle such a beautiful design as the iPod nano. So f##k….obese people die.
All we need to do is remove a few sausages from our pockets and we’ll be able to hold a nano AND those tiny headphones that are always falling out of our big ears.
This is a fake news story. The cracking was blamed on the a vendor making inferior screens – not fat people.
I’ll just remove Apple from my diet!!
I have been contumplating suicide for quite some time now. I am 432 pounds light, and that would be “Obese.” I love music, and I also love sitting for extended periods of time when these two conflict, Its all I can take. So either I cam take the easy wat out, by jumping out my shower, or do the hard 12 step process, or taking it out of my pocket. Hmm…
