UK Playstation 3 Pre-orders Open

UK Internet retailer Play has begun taking orders for Sony’s Playstation 3 already!

Due on the 17th of November, according to the current page, the Playstation 3 bundle will include the 60GB HDD edition of the PS3 along with 3 launch title games.

• Singstar

So what’s the damage in UK money? £549.99 Delivered – for a console, and DVD player this does feel rather steep still. What ever happened to console hardware being subsidised by the manufacturer to drive game sales?
