Sony XDR-M1 DAB Mp3 Player

Sony has announced a family of DAB products for travelling, the home and the car. The first new model is the personal XDR-M1 DAB FM WALKMAN.

You can preset up to 40 radio stations, although I’m sure there aren’t that many stations currently broadcast by DAB in the UK. As with most portable players the unit also features a FM tuner in case your in areas of poor DAB coverage.

The XDR-M1 features a four-line backlit LCD display complete with clock. There is even an alarm function to wake you up in the morning. Your listening pleasure should lasts for up to 10 hours thanks to that handy battery.

Sony has yet to set a price for the unit here in the UK.
