Mathmos Aduki, Take-Anywhere Funky Light

The new funky Mathmos’ Aduki (ÃÂ£34.95) personal light is named so because it looks a bit like an Aduki bean, which is what gives it its tactile organic shape.

Once charged, the Aduki (120x90x50mm) gives off a sensual calming light, and can either be set to pulse gently between its two colours (Red to Blue or Blue to Green) or to stay on a single colour. It charges like a mobile phone too, allowing you to wander around with it either in the house or the garden. The integral batteries and bulbs are good for up to 1000 charges, and it will glow for around 6 hours on a full charge.
