World’s highest capacity 2.5-inch external hard disk drive – that is the claim made by Fujitsu about the new HandyDrive, but I have my doubts believing that âclaimâ is a fact.
Anyhow, at 500GB and with an approximate price of £181 (plus taxes) it might not be cheap, but the extra features make up for high-price. There is good security in form a recently created password lock tool option, and a way of saving 35% of power while in stand-by mode.
In terms of weight, the HandyDrive goes for 220 grams which means that portable is its middle name.
Besides the highest capacity drive of 500GB, Fujitsu will also provide lower versions, more specifically 160GB, 250GB, 320GB, and 400GB.
Its distinctive internal shock-endurance mechanism helps to reduce the effect of impact and lends increased data protection.
