Aldi (http://www.aldi.co.uk/) is known as a budget supermarket chain, and because of the very nature of its business, you can expect really wonderful discounts from the company from time to time. And don’t expect the discounts to just be on food and other “supermarket” items. Aldi has been known to extend its price cuts on gadgets and other tech equipment.
For example, Aldi has recently dropped the price on the AKOYA E3300 D Multimedia PC from manufacturer Medion. The PC has an Athlon 64 X2 7750 Dual Core processor, 4 GB of DDR2 RAM and a very spacious 640GB hard drive. The great thing about this PC is its, as the name suggests, multimedia capabilities. It already has both HDMI and DVI connections located at the rear of the CPu and an eight channel high definition surround sound card. It even has a multi card reader built in.
The graphics cards is not slouch either as it has an ATI Radeon HD4350 that has 512MB in memory and also a multi format DVD burner. It comes with Windows Vista Home Premium and the Media Centre interface. It even comes packaged with software like Home Cinema Suite, Nero 8, MS Works, CorelDraw Essentials and Bullguard’s Internet Security Pack. Whole discounted price for everything is just £389 inclusive of VAT.
The AKOYA E3300 will be availabel from February 5 and will continue while supplies last.
