Cheap Xbox 360s at Zavvi

Christmas is not going to be a whirlwind of spending for a lot of people this year. With the global financial crisis looming like a spectre over people from all over the world it’s just not that prudent to really splurge and get what you want this holiday season.

But if you’re at the right place at the right time you just may get a little Christmas retail “miracle,” especially in the form of an extra affordable Xbox 360.

High Street chain Zavvi (http://www.zavvi.co.uk/) is reportedly selling the Microsoft gaming console for just £99. At that price you don’t need to feel guilty for indulging in your gaming habits. You can even give them as gifts to your nephews and friends.

The £99 price tag is for the low-end Xbox 360 Arcade version. But even though this the lowest end of the Xbox 360 tier, it already has a HDMI connection so you can use it on your HDTV for true high-definition gaming. Zavvi is also offering the Premium package 60GB version for £128 and the Elite package for £195

Here’s a little caveat though. Supplies of these gaming consoles are quite limited so if you want to take advantage of the low price better get ready and take a trip to the local Zavvi store near you. Couch potatos, take note, this deal is not available for online purchase.

Oh, and someone told me that Sainsbury may also have a deal similar to this. Not confirmed though so don’t come hunting me down if you do go to a Sainsbury store and they don’t have this deal.
