Protect Your WiFi Signal With Paint
A colleague of mine moved to a new house over the holidays. For first two weeks in her new home, she was miserable as miserable can be. Why? Because her ISP took forever to provide her service. Imagine her delight when, one morning, she turned her laptop on and found that she was getting a WiFi signal that was unsecured – open for anyone to use. That was, perhaps, her best Christmas gift ever!
Vue Personal Video Network
I’m filing this under “wireless” because this is the first webcam-class gadget that has gone wireless and “powerless” too. I say powerless because it is self-contained… battery powered. All you need to do is attach it securely to a smooth surface (a wall, a desk), make sure it’s within good range from its base and viola! Your own personal wireless video system for under £220.

Dell Wasabi… too hot! :)
This is the Dell Wasabi PZ310 Mobile Printer. Beauty (yes), useful (yes), upscale expensive (no). At about £69, instant photos become a possibility even at home. And even if you’re mobile, this printer weighs at approximately 8 oz, practically able to disappear in your bag, or snug fitly in your shirt pocket.
This printer uses Zero-Ink Technology, ink-less, and I’m not joking. Zero-Ink printing means :
iMuffs
Well, when I heard about iMuffs I thought that it had something to do with keeping your ears warm during winter WHILE some techy stuff is happening (like say listening to music or using your cellphone). But it turns out that iMuffs is a bluetooth headset that allows you to wirelessly listen to an audio source.
I’d understand a little why they’d call it that way being that it’s snow season and all. I’d just wished they’d call it something else because “Muffs” is normally used to protect your ears from cold. Anyway, that’s just me.
