Watches were the first gadgets that really caught my eye. My friends would usually get digital watches as gifts from their parents and these watches would sport additional functions like altimeters, pedometers, and most importantly (to my young mind) games. I’ve never really lost my fascination for digital watches. I think they are quite cool and very useful. They’re also quite low maintenance.

Solar power is getting a lot of attention these days because of the quest for clean, renewable power as a way of averting the effects of global warming. Oh the struggle of pulling out of bed, I share the sentiments of about 90% of people worldwide when the sun peeks… bah (!) you just want to keep your head under the pillow. And when the alarm buzzes loud, knee-jerk reaction would be to grab it and throw it out the window. A little bad for me though because I use my Nokia E51 as my personal alarm clock. But if I really could, I’d smash it real good to shut it up.
