Quirky alarm clocks are all the rage at the minute, and this iPod Alarm Clock is no different. It is retro in design and looks exactly like one of those ancient beasts with the big bells stuck to the side. That must be why this iPod alarm is now one of the most popular and desired in the UK. It could also be down to that fact that it is available for the cheap price of £39.95 (lowest in the UK), and has FREE DELIVERY.

We all hate getting out of bed. Sleeping rocks. So wouldn’t it be good if waking up rocked as well? It does if you’ve got a Retro iPod Alarm Clock on your bedside table. This sleek dock/speaker system/waker-upper looks like a modern take on those twin-belled alarm clocks of yesteryear. You know, the ones that shook your fillings out every time the hammer started dinga-linging on the bells.

This stylish bit of kit is powered via an AC adaptor, so it charges your iPod as you sleep. It even tells your iPod to switch to clock mode the second you pop it in. What’s more, the great sounding speakers allow you to listen to your iPod in bed without earphones (which, let’s face it, are joke uncomfortable, especially if you’re lying on your side).

With Christmas around the corner it would be sensible to buy one of these asap to take advantage of the sale prices.

I have a constant need to go online. It’s part of my job to be constantly be online so that I can work because the internet is an integral part of what I do. That’s why even when I have a need to go on errands I always look for WiFi hotspots so I can check my email or do some research. Previously, looking for a hotspot can be a bother because you’ll have to whip out your laptop and turn it on to find out if there’s a signal. When I got my WiFi enabled phone, I used it to check for WiFi signals but it often drains the power of my phone’s battery, which is no good especially if I have plans of being in transit all day.

That’s why a gadget like the WiFi watch is a great thing to have if you’re like me – constantly searching for a good hotspot. The WiFi Watch will easily detect the best WiFi signal within the area without you have to walk around and pointing a device in the air like a crazy, homeless man.

Cheapest From: Amazon.co.uk and I Want One Of Those.com

The watch possesses a scaled strength indicator that’s indicated from 0 to 8. You can easily find out where the best signal is without having to wave around your laptop. You’ll even look cool doing it because women will think you’re some secret agent trying to get some secret communiqué through your watch. You’ll never leave home without this watch.

Watches were the first gadgets that really caught my eye. My friends would usually get digital watches as gifts from their parents and these watches would sport additional functions like altimeters, pedometers, and most importantly (to my young mind) games. I’ve never really lost my fascination for digital watches. I think they are quite cool and very useful. They’re also quite low maintenance.

My digital watch fascination has thus led me to really long for the Meteo Weather Watch, which is available from Amazon. This very versatile watch, obviously tells time and also possesses some of the “standard” features of digital watches, namely, a stop watch, calendar and alarm functions. But its most unique feature involves the weather, because it can “predict”.

The Meteo Weather Watch can forecast the weather for 12 and 24 hours ahead by actually measuring the barometric pressure that is happening in the environment. Depending on what kind of barometric pressure it measures, the watch will determine the weather. Reading the watch’s forecasts is quite easy as it does it with an icon interface. This makes it easy to find out if it is going to rainy, cloudy, partly cloudy and sunny.

A weather watch will most definitely have to be quite rugged and the Meteo Weather Watch delivers here admirably. It has a backlight function that will allow you to read the watch even at low light conditions and rains will never be a problem because it is water resistant up to 30 metres (98 feet).

You can get the Meteo Weather Watch at the Cheapest Price Here!

I love watches. I love them so much that I actually have a small collection at home that I lovingly care for. Right now, I’m concentrating on vintage Seikos from the 60s and 70s but I am trying to bulk up and improve my collection by including some digital – analog sports watches that I’ve grown to love because of their versatility.

But if I could, what I’d love to add to my collection is this new concept of a watch from both Timex (http://www.timex.co.uk/) and Core77.

The new watch concept was conceptualised by designers Napoleon Merena, Steffen Schubert, and David Takacs. Their cool design was the winner of the recently held design competition 2154 The Future of Time. The cool looking conceptual watch is actually a miniature timepiece that has been engineered to fit onto a person’s fingernail. The timepiece will use a disposable stick on design that stays translucent until it is pressed – which would then automatically start showing the time, date and the AM and PM signs.

The timepieces will be made available in different colours that users can use for fashion coordination. Another funky application is to put the timepieces on different fingers to show the different time zones.

As of the moment, there are no schedules or planned timelines on when this will be made available as well as how much these timepieces will actually cost, even the more technical details have not yet been ironed out (are they reusable? Waterproof?). But despite having a lot of things still up in the air, this looks like it’s going to be a hit when it’s released.

More and more manufacturers are now developing different gadgets and devices to harness the sun’s rays in order to power different objects. I just recently talked about solar rechargeable batteries. Now I think it’s high time we talk about solar powered watches.

More and more manufacturers are now developing different gadgets and devices to harness the sun’s rays in order to power different objects. I just recently talked about solar rechargeable batteries. Now I think it’s high time we talk about solar powered watches.

The Freestyle Boiler Watch (http://www.freestyleusa.com/products/Mens/Boiler/) is a really simple timepiece with a very ordinary design and yet it is compelling to look at because it is powered by the sun. A single charge of the innovative watch is allegedly enough to operate the watch for one full year. But since the very nature of the solar powered watch is to create power whenever it is exposed to the sun (which is basically everytime you go out) then it means the watch will never ever run out of power.

The Freestyle Boiler Watch has many functions. It has a chronograph, alarm, timer, two time zones and a backlit display. You can expect to pay for the watch the equivalent of £80. But you’ll need to have it shipped because it looks like it is not yet readily available in the UK. Considering all of the features that have been built into the watch, and the fact that you won’t have to ever buy batteries for it I think the price is quite reasonable. The added bonus is that it’s also a great conversation piece so I would highly recommend it.

And when the alarm buzzes loud, knee-jerk reaction would be to grab it and throw it out the window. A little bad for me though because I use my Nokia E51 as my personal alarm clock. But if I really could, I'd smash it real good to shut it up.

I think this is the main concept behind this prototype, the Smash Alarm Clock, The alarm is switched off by punching on the top of the alarm clock. Oh this beauty will just give you the pay-back you wished you have every morning. Wake you up at 6:30am eh, well a big smash will even the score out, right?

Sadly it’s still on concept stage, yup, not commercially available. Not sure why but I think this product will fly. What is good to note though is that everyone can build on the concept here. Like probably merging it with a cool MP3 dock? Or the ability to flash strobe lights? Vibrate? Anything annoying to make the smashing a little more worth it!

Her favorite character company Sanrio has just released a dressed up keyboard filled with their number 1 (best seller) character of all time... Hello Kitty.

Is my sister following this blog? Oh man, I’m sure I’d get a message from her asking me for a Hello Kitty keyboard soon. Her favorite character company Sanrio has just released a dressed up keyboard filled with their number 1 (best seller) character of all time… Hello Kitty.

What it is though is a steeply priced keyboard at about £80. If you’re asking if it’s doing something extra special for the money… well it simply doesn’t. All that it is is a normal QWERTY keyboard with cute cat cartoon all over. Not even compatible with the Mac desktops, but who’s complaining. I guess Mac people would rather use their handsome wireless Mac keyboards, eh?

I think this simply attempts to appeal to the Hello Kitty cult following. Some people, like my sister, would do anything, spend any amount of money to get everything in Hello Kitty design. Ah, what’s money these days anyway, you splurge it on things that you enjoy. Keeps coming to those who’s got a job, so splurge while you still can? Right?

Product features:

- Size: 44.2 x 14.8 x 2.5 cm
- PC Interface USB, PC/AT compatible
- OS: Windows XP / VISTA
- Japanese QWERTY 108 key
- Warranty: 6 months

Does it come in some other color? No, this is the only variation, sad to say. Red is all there is. I wonder if Sanrio will also make version for My Melody(!) ha… and don’t ask me why I know Hello Kitty’s best friend.

A few months of this will cause you to begin feeling a little ache every so often. A few years maybe catastrophic to your health.

There's a lot of written and visual material on the internet to help you guide your body to better posture. The thing is, you do this for say five minutes, and for the next 55 minutes you slither back to the same bad posture you're "comfortable" with.

A few months of this will cause you to begin feeling a little ache every so often. A few years maybe catastrophic to your health.

There’s a lot of written and visual material on the internet to help you guide your body to better posture. The thing is, you do this for say five minutes, and for the next 55 minutes you slither back to the same bad posture you’re “comfortable” with.

Now here’s a gadget that may help remind you to check your posture. The iPosture is an intuitive electronic device designed to improve posture. Just over one inch in diameter, the iPosture automatically senses when the body slouches, and it alerts the user with brief vibrations to correct it.

It attaches discretely to the body by clip or adhesive, the vibration isn’t too “loud” to startle you or distract you from your daily chores.

You can’t tell if you’ve got good or bad posture, you’ve got to have someone do it for you. Can’t have a mirror in front of you always now can you? The iPosture is perfect for everyone and in any condition. The office, the club, at home, driving, or sitting at the park. Bring the iPosture along and you’re set with good posture all day long.

It’s available right here for about £35.
