If you own and INQ1 mobile phone already then my heart goes out to you, as all the talk is about the new school varieties:  the INQ Chat and the INQ Mini that are due to be released just in time for Christmas.

The original INQ1 social media phone is still pretty good, but one major flaw is that it doesn’t come loaded with Twitter, whilst the two new phones will….to top it off, the INQ1 will never have Twitter either.

We revealed this week that the Spotify iPhone App has just been submitted to iTunes and is being considered for general release, but it seems this process has taken too long for iPhone addict Steven Ramsey, from Scotland.

Single father Ramsey has claimed that the delay in getting the Spotify App to the market has resulted in a series of unfortunate events that started with him filing for bankruptcy having spent all his money on music.  With no money left to pay for daily necessities his local government were forced to remove his three children from their family home and place them in foster care, or in his own words “kidnap” them.

If you are the sort of thrify individual that likes to find a good bargain then the iPhone Application AppSniper could be for you.  Why pay that full 59p for and app when you could bag it with money off….obviously this last part is tongue-in-cheek sarcasm but in all seriousness AppSniper is pretty awesome.

This agreement ends years of negotiations and gives Microsoft access to the internet’s second-largest search engine audience, in a bid to crush Googles total world dominance. It adds a potentially potent weapon to Microsoft’s Internet arsenal as the software maker girds for an online assault against Google. After years of dwindling Yahoo financial success this link is being hailed as crucual in preventing Google’s market share from reaching record levels around the world.

In the process, Yahoo hopes to recover some of the money that was squandered in 2008 when it turned down a chance to sell the entire company to Microsoft for £29bn.

You have to be a tech newbie to have missed the fuss about Spotify, and the iPhone app has been tipped to revolutionise music on the go.  With free(ish) music at your fingertips by the barrel-load why would you need to pay premium for an album or track on iTunes?

This is the conundrum that has left tech journalists fussing over whether iTunes will actually allow Spotify to be included on the list of iPhone apps within iTunes, or even be used on the iPhone at all!

So it seems that the Blackberry Curve 8520 now has an official UK release date according to some leaked information.  Coming with built in Blackberry must have features it is set to be another worthy, if not familiar, addition to the Blackberry fold.

Considering Blackberry’s reputation amongst mobile phone circles the Curve 8520 is pretty basic.  No way is it intended to compete with the Blackberry Bold but it still has enough unique features to make prevent you from immediately dismissing the cute little chap.
